IR Curing Oven

The I.C.T-IR4 IR Curing Oven provides cost-effective, high-quality curing for adhesives, coatings, and anti-corrosion paints in SMT PCB production lines. Its top-zone IR heating delivers uniform temperature, while PLC control maintains ±5℃ precision. Modular design and optional bottom heating increase flexibility. The independent cooling zone ensures safe PCB exit temperatures. Adjustable conveyor speed accommodates various board sizes. This IR SMT oven allows manufacturers to maintain throughput, minimize energy consumption, and achieve consistent curing quality, making it a practical choice for high-volume and mixed-model SMT PCB production.

Features of IR Oven

IR System

The IR heating system offers top-zone infrared radiation with uniform heat distribution. Imported IR tubes and reflective stainless steel floors optimize efficiency. PID control reacts rapidly to temperature changes and maintains set points. Modular design allows quick replacement and maintenance of heating elements. Safety features include over-temperature protection, solid-state relays, and layered thermal safeguards. This system ensures stable, repeatable curing for adhesives, coatings, and soldering fluxes, providing reliable performance while keeping energy consumption low for cost-sensitive production environments.

Transport System

The transport system uses high-quality motors and hardened rails for smooth, stable movement. Conveyor speed can be adjusted from 100 to 3000mm/min. The system supports PCB weights and heights up to ±100mm, with maximum width 460mm. Optional bottom heating enhances curing for thicker boards. Independent cooling zones maintain safe exit temperatures. The motorized furnace cover and safety support rods prevent accidents. This design provides precise control over board movement, ensures even curing, and minimizes the risk of warping or heat damage during continuous SMT PCB processing.

The IR Curing Oven works with I.C.T’s full SMT coating and dispensing line. Related equipment includes conformal coating units, jet dispensers, UV/IR curing ovens, PCB conveyors, AOI systems, and depaneling machines. The oven ensures precise adhesive and coating curing, while conveyor and cooling systems maintain board integrity. AOI verifies process quality, and depaneling separates finished PCBs.
